My daughter was 2 the first time she saw Santa Dust. She awoke Christmas morning to magical sprinkles all around her bed. She was so captivated by them that it actually took awhile to get her to come downstairs and see the tree.

As she held some sparkles tightly in her hand, she followed the trail of Santa Dust down to the living room -- collecting "dust" as she went. Not only had Santa left some gifts for her under the tree, but he sprinkled his magical dust on the cookie plate as a special way of saying thank you to Bella for the delicious goodies.

She was so enchanted with those sparkling sprinkles left by Santa! To this day she is already asking if he will leave her Santa Dust this Christmas!

I was afraid to start leaving confetti around the bed, afraid of the mess, not sure what would happen, but after the first night, I changed my mind.

I left a little bit of Santa Dust around my son's bed days before Christmas to let him know that Santa was watching.

When he woke up the first morning, he was full of questions and I had to make up answers as we went along. "It was Santa's magic dust. The sprinkles were from the North Pole."

I couldn't keep up with his questions. My son asked if the Santa Dust made Santa fly and I told him yes, it did. He then picked up pieces of the Santa Dust and put it on his tricycle because he wanted to fly just like Santa!

I laughed so hard and that made Santa Dust part of our Christmas for years.
